What this PR does

Re-architects the Shapes docs around who is reading (cofounder.co style): a tiny front door that routes, a Use Shapes track, a Make Shapes five-chapter creator guide, and a shared AI features showcase. Plain human prose, verified-live capabilities only, nothing dormant.

Pass 8 (this update): icons, dupes, flow

  • Root-caused the "embarrassing" look: no icon library was set, so Mintlify defaulted to Font Awesome and every Lucide-only icon name (messages-square, users-round, cpu, grid-2, etc.) rendered blank, while Font Awesome names (shapes) rendered. That's the lopsided front-door fork and the scattered missing icons.
  • Fixed the fork first: both cards now have balanced Font Awesome icons (comments for Use, cubes for Make), parallel body length, and consistent naming ("make my own Shape", not "AI").
  • Locked the icon library to Font Awesome in docs.json and standardized one icon vocabulary across every page (concept → one icon used everywhere). Replaced all blank Lucide names, removed every decorative sparkle/wand icon, and de-duplicated icons that meant two things.
  • Balanced grids: the 5-chapter card grid no longer leaves a lonely card (stacked as a sequence); confirmed every Card has an icon and cols match card counts.
  • Flow: every chapter and landing has a clear "what's next"; the two-track journey connects end to end.

Earlier passes (still included)

Two-track IA (Start here / Use Shapes / Make Shapes chapters / What the AI can do / Reference). Plain-language rewrite and full anti-slop line-edit of the front door and deep pages. Dormant-code purge (dice, character sheets, file gen, scheduled actions, image annotation, chat-history search, shape message effects, Alive mode) kept out. Corrected facts (up to 5 Shapes reply in turn; 300+ models; no public dev API).

Verified vs code

No new feature claims. Icons are presentational; the audit didn't touch any capability claim. Use-track scenarios stay within verified-live behavior.

Validation

  • docs.json valid; all 77 page references resolve; icon library set; redirects intact; no orphans.
  • Every <Card> has an icon; all icons map to the Font Awesome set.
  • npx mintlify broken-links"success no broken links found."

Needs a human: real images

Precise {/* SCREENSHOT */} placeholders are in place across the journey. The consolidated shot list is in the agent report. The one hero the landing most needs: a multiplayer group chat with people and a Shape talking together.
